Cooking Over Fire
is an Ancient Art

Wild Kitchen is a cooking and travel series featuring Chef Desh Fernando. In each episode, he travels to stunning, remote landscapes and creates extraordinary meals using only what he can carry in โ€” and forage, harvest, or fish near his campsite.

Before the fire is lit, Chef Desh meets a local expert who helps him source the episode's hero ingredient โ€” whether that's harvesting hickory bark deep in the forest, ice fishing on a frozen Ontario lake, or foraging for wild mushrooms at dawn.

The perfect combination of fresh wild ingredients, a hot element, and great company creates the most primal and visually stunning culinary experiences imaginable.
